All that can truly be said about this song is that it is EPIC LULZ. You need to hear it to believe it. Not to mention Ryan Ross' voice is on clear display, which is pretty awesome if you're a Panic fan.
Who is Tequila Mockingbird you ask? Tequila Mockingbird is the combined awesome power of Nicholas Scimeca, who is apparently a parter of Angels & Kings (Peter Wentz's restaurant whut), and Travis McCoy, of Gym Class Heroes fame. So what about the song then? It's fucking catchy and I can't stop listening to it. Someone around here is gonna kill me.
Toni was the first person to tell me about this band, but it wasn't until I saw them in '07 that I actually started to pay attention. They're kind of a ~supergroup of the Canadian scene~ so to speak, and are notably fronted by Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid. But they don't sound like Comeback Kid. Hmm whatever its good music. Download if it interests you.
HOLLA ANOTHER SIDE PROJECT! 3 in one file dump. This one is a-featurin Keith Buckley from Every Time I Die. It's almost like this weird country rock music thing he's doing (holy shit maybe even actual southern rock-esque?) with some old friends that started one night while they were drunk. This is an acoustic version of one of their songs, and it might just be my favorite I've heard. Supremely pretty. No screaming here.
Yes another file dump. Haha. This one is filled with a bunch of really great gosh darn tracks. As in, listen to them over and over and over and not get sick of them tracks. Yes, it's basically the best file dump evarz.
Excuse me while I coo over the greatness of this track. I've had it in my head ALL day and I'm okay with that. I can literally listen to this over and over and over and it's as good as the first time I heard it. It's LITERALLY the happiest thing I've heard in like, evarz.
Why thank you Strike Gently for ripping this audio. William Beckett did a video of himself covering this song acoustically, and geeeeeeeeez is it pretty. The original of this song is obv. hauntingly beautiful, as it is The Knife, but this is just a pretty little acoustic diddy that can't help but make you smile. Dig eet.
The Mixed Tape is a fucking great song. This is an even better version, IMO. I have actually been meaning to stick this in a file dump since I started this blog, but I just haven't been able to put one together that I felt really suits this song until now. It's the kind of song where you need to close your eyes just to absorb how damn lovely it is.
Another track I've been waiting to share for awhile. Creep is arguably the most recognizable Radiohead song, and for good reason. Dustin Kensrue, being the immense talent that he is, delivers the goods in this cover. It's as haunting and beautiful as the original, and gives me the same shivers. It's also a pretty damn good live rip.
Hey remember when Sonny made good music? Yeah! Back when From First To Last were somewhat relevant? Yeah that was a long time ago. Now he's got this solo project, and it kinda sounds like Chris Crocker "music" to me. Emo goes pop fucking TRAINWRECK. Download for lulz.
ScarJo rapes and kills a great and classic Jeff Buckley song. Actually it's not that horrific. She actually has a pretty good voice. It obviously comes nowhere even near the shadow of the original, but its not bad. Too bad she's not a legitamite artist and only does weird ScarJo covers of classic alternative songs.
Also not totally horrific. But this is still the Ocean Avenue dudes. The dudes with the violin and the lead singer who cried when they won a VMA. Those dudes. Thus by default this is totally gay. And thus I love it.

The Soggy Bottom Boys - I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow Okay, for those who have not a clue what this song is, perhaps this will refresh your memory: Ever seen O Brother, Where Art Thou? If not, then you would not recall the part where the blind dude gets people to sing into his can and gives them a hundred bucks for just that. Our main adventurers in the movie sing this song into a can. Yup. IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT I SUGGEST YOU DO BEFORE YOU DIE!

Alot of you probably recall this song playing in the background as you laughed your ass off to the guys of jackass getting pulvarized by the giant sacks hanging from the ceiling in the indoor skate park. Doesn't anyone else think it was very surprising that the guy who went through with a blindfold on was the only guy who didn't get hit? that's some kind of miracle.
That's right! it's that really funny song from Harold & Kumar: Escape From Guantanamo Bay. When people make fun of you for listening to it, at least you have a ton of comebacks to say back to them; "Oh yeah?! Yo' dick look like Maculay Culkin!".

This is a live acoustic cover All Time Low did of Rihanna's Umbrella. And like I just said, it's a lot of fun. It's a pretty rough around the edges bootleg, and you can hear the audience singing along. So if you're cool with that type of audio (and lord knows I personally am) you should download this.
So Paramore recorded this live acoustic version of Pressure at some Chicago radio station. It's pretty fantastical. Obviously. Haley is such a great vocalist. Dig it.
This is an acoustic version of their first single off the very popular album, Deja Entendu. It is featured on The Holiday EP, a rare street team only EP they gave away to members for free. Only 1000 copies of it were pressed. Cool.

This is probably the best known song by The Raconteurs, and here it is in it's acoustic form. It's a lot of fun still, but a bit slower. But I guess most acoustics are like that. Haha.
I could be bias (as I love Say Anything very much) but this is a great acoustic track. The ending is also pretty amusing, as it features Max Bemis screaming and bitching about the recording budget. I enjoy it very much.
I shamelessy love this song. I shamelessy love New Found Glory. They may be my favorite nasally pop punk band of all time. I mean, other than Blink 182 and Green Day. :D The original is just a lot of fun, but this version is just really pretty. I appreciate it. Unfortunately it cuts off a little bit at the end.
When Paramore decide to play their songs acoustically, it of course is stunning. But what else is to be expected of Haley Williams, Goddess of Vocalists? This is no exception. Paramore fans are gonna love this one.

This song was on the advance copies of Business Up Front/Party In The Back, but they cut it because the label only wanted 12 songs on the cd and the band figured it wasnt good enough to be on the disc. It's lots of fun though, but I can't see it fitting on that album.
This song is beautiful and amazing, and it's definitely cool hearing Rody singing about something other than politics, cigarettes, or dragons. For those who don't know, Chad Michael Stewart used to be in Machete Avenue, and is now doing a solo thing. Anyways, the reason this stupid file is in M4A is because thats how it downloaded off of Myspace. So got beef, bring it up with them. If you can play this file, check er out. It's incredible.

Also, it was a b-side on the Sequoia Throne single, but when I downloaded it the single was incomplete, so I didn't upload it as a single. Anyways, this song is STILL badass, minus the vocal stylings of Rody.
