This entire album is absolutely fantastic, finding another depth of emotion and beauty in My Chemical Romance's music. So this is My Chemical Romance's first album, which was released on indie label Eyeball Records and produced by lead singer of Thursday, Geoff Rickly. Personally, I don't think it's nearly as good as their later records, but there are a few utterly brilliant tracks, and a few pretty good tracks. There is also the one song I can't stand by MCR on this album - which is Cubicles. And that's because its nauseating to listen to. Anyways, I say download and listen to one of my favorite records. :D

This is, without a doubt, my all time favorite record by any band or artist ever. For realz. I could gush and gush but there's no need. I love this record with all my little blackened (uber lame) heart. If this record were a boy, I would marry that boy and make sweet, sweet love to it 3 times a day. AND bear it's children.

Joy of joys- here's the first My Chemical Romance live album! Yay! It's not made up of a complete set like The Black Parade Is Dead!, but it is actually a collection of audio tracks from various live performances on tv and the intarwebs. My favorite of these live tracks is The Ghost Of You, because its much more raw than the glossed over album version. It also contains two demos and one b-side. Not going to lie, the b-side and the demo for Bury Me In Black are two of my favorite MCR songs ever. So yes. Enjoy!

My Chemical Romance- The Black Parade Is Dead!

This is the audio portion of My Chemical Romance's latest CD/DVD set. And it's damn good. It's much better than the live portions of Life On The Murder Scene. It got good reviews too, except from Rolling Stone. But they're a bunch of fucking idiot hacks who rarely know a good album if it walks up and slaps them in the face. If they're as great as they're supposed to be, and this album is as shitty as they say, then explain this sentence: "But for all of the theatrical flourishes, the songs remain slightly lost in translation, as though the band isn't yet comfortable with its recent material ­ during his performance of "Cancer," Way almost sounds apologetic." I bet reviews on people's blogs were more concise and displayed better grammar. Download this from the link in the title or below, via Megaupload. It's pretty good, and if it shows that if MCR existed in an alternate universe, they could create some very pretty elevator/waiting room music. I much prefer the string quartet tribute, but unfortunately I couldn't locate it, so if i ever purchase it I will definitely upload it here. Ahaha.
