Welcome! Now here's the plan...

I have made this blog for one simple purpose:

Sharing music amongst friends.

Sometimes, we want an album and are simply unable to find it. Or, we are torrentarded. Or we figure why go through the hassle when our friends can send it. Some of us just trust compadres better than the internet. So.

What I'm saying is this:

• I want 1-9 more people to work on this blog with me.
  
• Sign up at Blogger. Create a profile.
  
• Tell me your URL on this or through something else, and I'll add you to the blog, and you can post whenever you feel like it.
• Try to upload at least one file per week.
  

If I accept you into my super blog of d00m, do the following:

• Sign up with SendSpace. Or Megaupload.
• Copy song files from into a .zip file and upload to SendSpace and/or Megaupload. Clearly label the .zip file with the name of the artist and the album.
  
• Create an entry in this blog, linking the download link at the end. I'm going to throw a blog up right after this showing what I need done.

Pleasepleaseplease! Only upload mp3 files or unprotected itunes files. It can turn into a mega pain in the ass for people if you upload strange file types. Another thing, free SendSpace only keeps the file link until a week after the last download. Megaupload keeps the files indefinitely, but if you go through Sendspace, every download your file recieves gets a point. So to keep word of these files up, import this blog into your Facebook notes, which is in Note Settings on the right hand side directly under "Recently Tagged Friends." That way your friends can see all the free music that's up.

Oh, and always tag an entry with the artist's name and the album name as separate tags, so it's easier for people to navigate. And make sure that you start each word with a capital letter.
